Purair® Basic
At Fagron we carry Purair® Basic powder containment hoods to minimise your staff's exposure to harmful chemicals.
The hoods meet the latest WH&S standards. The advanced carbon filtration technology offers a safe, high performance alternative to conventional ducted fume hoods for a broad range of applications, including powder weighing, capsule filling, compounding creams and many other processes.
We carry three sizes Purair® Basic hoods accomodating different lab lay outs:
- 610 x 676 x 889 mm
- 914 x 676 x 889 mm
- 1219 x 676 x 889 mm
Purair® Basic features
- High capacity air handling system delivers face velocity of 100 fpm.
- Easy to install: the ductless fume hood is self-contained and does not require venting to the outside.
- Exceeds Australian work health safety standards and other international standards.
- Hinged front sash: when closed, the cabinet sash protects the contents from external contact.
- A low airflow alarm warns of insufficient face velocity.
- Easy-to-replace main HEPA filter, no tools required.
- Noise level less than 53 dBA at 1 meter.
- White epoxy coated steel frame and head unit. Clear sides and back panel.
